Ilocos DIY Itinerary (round2) | Pagudpud-Laoag-Vigan

Hi buddies! This is my second time to visit Ilocos and I could say that this itinerary is more organized, and is more recommendable than my first one. See the difference. 

Day 0: Wednesday

9:00pm – Departure to Laoag (via Viron bus)


Day 1: Thursday

5:00am – Arrival in Laoag; light breakfast
6:00am – Departure to Pagudpud (via UV Express van)
7:30am – Arrival in Pagudpud/Saud beach
8:30am -Check in at Villa del Mar; rest
10:00am – Breakfast/lunch at Casa Victoria
11:30am – Tricycle tour (Patapat Viaduct, Timangtang rock formation, Bantay-Abot cave, Blue Lagoon, Pagudpud viewdeck & welcome arc, Bangui windmills, Cape Bojeador, Kapurpurawan rock formation)
5:00pm – Lunch/Dinner (we asked our tricycle/tour guide to bring us to a cheap resto/karinderya)
6:30pm – Back to our room
8:00pm – Lights off


Day 2: Friday

6:00am – Wake up time
7:00am – Breakfast at Casa Victoria
9:00am – (supposedly beachbumming) watched the strong waves smashing onto the sand while singing in the rain
11:30am – Prep up; pack things up
12:30pm – Check out
1:00pm – Departure to Laoag (via ordinary bus)
3:00pm – Arrival in Laoag; late lunch
4:30pm – Went to Laoag Sand Dunes
5:00pm – Start of 4×4 sand adventure & sandboarding
6:30pm – Departure to Vigan (via Partas bus)
8:30pm – Arrival in Vigan
8:45pm – Check in at Green R Hotel
9:30pm – Night stroll at Calle Crisologo
10:00pm – Dinner at Kusina de Kenyong
11:15pm – Back to hotel; lights off


Day 3: Saturday

7:00am – Wake up time; prep up
9:00am -Breakfast at Jollibee
10:00am – Strolled around Plaza Salcedo and Calle Crisologo
12:00pm – Back to hotel; transferred to a smaller room
2:00pm – Kalesa tour (Bantay church & belltower, Hidden Garden, Pagburnayan, Baluarte)
5:00pm – End of tour; biking within the vicinity of Vigan Hotel Plaza/Plaza Burgos
6:00pm – Snacks at Plaza Burgos
6:30pm – Back to hotel; rest
8:00pm – Pack things up
8:30pm – Check out
9:00pm – Departure to Cubao (via Dominion bus)
6:00am – Arrival in Cubao
